1. HOW CAN I BOOK THERAPY SESSION?

Therapy sessions can be arranged online via the 'book now' button, via the contact form or
by phone.

I do my best to respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible. If you do not receive an
answer within 24 hours, please send me a message via WhatsApp at 
+43 664 210 48 48.

2. HOW DOES THE THERAPY WORK?

All services start with an initial assessment, during which questions regarding symptoms and health status are asked. Therefore, the initial assessment will go in-depth to create an individual therapy plan based on the results and your goals.

The following sessions will then involve a combination of passive treatment measures
(trigger point therapy, manual therapy, etc.) and active exercises to work towards achieving your goals. As it is always important to me to actively involve you in the therapy, we will craft an individual training plan together with exercises that can help you reach your set goals faster and achieve long-term improvement.

3. DO I NEED A PRESCRIPTION FROM THE DOCTOR?

Yes, if you need to start therapy due to pain, injury or after surgery (therapy services ‚Come back stronger‘).

No, if you have no pain or injury but want to work with me on performance optimization and injury prevention. The focus is on coming up with an individual training plan.

However, I always recommend bringing a prescription from a doctor (GP or specialist)! To be reimbursed, you need to submit the prescription with the invoices you received after each therapy session. I recommend that the prescription be written as ’10x Physiotherapie‘ á 45min / 60min.

4. ARE YOU A PRIVATE THERAPIST OR HEALTH INSURANCE THERAPIST?

I am a private physiotherapist, similar to a private doctor. This means that the health
insurance will cover part of the therapy costs (upon submission of all invoices and the prescription). Therefore, unless you have private health insurance, which often covers everything, a certain deductible remains.

5. DO I NEED AUTHORIZATION FROM MY HEALTH INSURANCE?

Yes, in most cases the prescription must be submitted to the health insurance fund before the first therapy session starts. Otherwise, you will not be reimbursed by your health insurance.

Exception: ÖGK and BVAEB (currently the approval requirement has been suspended).

6. DOES THE HEALTH INSURANCE COVER MY COST?

Yes, the health insurance company will cover part of the costs if the doctor's prescription is submitted together with the total invoice at the end of the therapy series.
For more information about the amount of refund click here. If you have additional private health insurance, additional costs for physiotherapeutic treatments will be covered depending on the contract.

No, if you don’t have a doctor’s prescription as health insurance does not cover the costs for
preventive physiotherapy sessions – the costs for the service „Fit and healthy for the future“ have to be covered privately.

7. WHEN AND HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY THERAPY?

Payment must be made after the end of each therapy session:

  • Cash
  • Debit/credit card
  • Instant bank transfer
8. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THERAPY?

Please bring with you:
– Prescription and all relevant medical reports (for initial assessment only)
– Dancing shoes, sports shoes or musical instruments if necessary

Towels will be provided by me.

9. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? DO I HAVE TO UNDRESS FOR THE EXAMINATION OR TREATMENT?

Please come in clothes in which you feel comfortable, but it is important that all relevant areas of your body be easily accessible for examination. So, ideally, you should wear clothes that can be easily removed.

Additionally, for active sessions please wear clothes in which you can move well – the clinic provides a changing area with lockable compartments.

10. ARE SHOWER FACILITIES AVAILABLE?

No, unfortunately, the clinic does not provide any shower facilities.

11. WHAT DO I DO IF I CANNOT KEEP MY APPOINTMENT?

If you cannot keep your appointment, please cancel in advance (up to 24 hours before the start of the therapy session) via short text message or WhatsApp at +43 664 210 48 48.

Otherwise, the missed appointment will be charged in full.

12. WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

In order to give other patients a chance to book a therapy session, I kindly ask that sessions be cancelled up to 24 hours before the start of the therapy session.

For this reason, short notice cancellations (less than 24 hours) will be charged in full. Thank you for your understanding!
