Falls du dich fragen solltest…
WHAT IS PHYSIOTHERAPY?
Physiotherapists are movement specialists who focus on the human musculoskeletal system and its performance. There are many applications of physiotherapy, for example in orthopaedics or neurology.
PhysElia aims to restore balance in the body in case of pain, in case of injury or after surgery. To ensure a holistic approach to therapy, a detailed assessment and diagnosis is necessary to create an individual therapy plan based on the results. This includes passive treatments (such as trigger point therapy, fascia techniques or taping), as well as active exercises to improve strength, endurance, balance and mobility. In addition to exercise therapy and rehabilitation, PhysElia also specializes in injury prevention and performance enhancement.
WHAT IS Performing Arts Medicine?
Performing Arts Medicine can be understood as medicine for performing artists, which encompasses the three broad groups of dancers, musicians and singers. Therefore, PhysElia offers specific physiotherapy for artists such as Latin and Standard dancers, pianists or musical performers.
Performing artists have to give their best mental and physical performances, both in training and when performing in front of an audience. Since these demands on the body are very high and specific, PhysElia offers highly individualized care and therapy for artists.
